Today, I'd like to share with you what we've learned about the second and third conditionals. The Second Conditional: Imagining Future Scenarios Let's kick things off with the second conditional. This conditional is used to discuss hypothetical situations in the present or future. Its structure is quite straightforward: If + simple past, would + infinitive verb without "to".
